A New Patriotic Party (NPP) polling station Chairman at Asante Akyem North Constituency in the Ashanti region, Kassim Awudu has rained curses on the Member of Parliament (MP) for the area, Lawyer Andy Appiah-Kubi and some other executives for allegedly suspending him from the party.
According to him, his suspension followed a decision to help a parliamentary aspirant in his campaign ahead of the party’s primary.

To Mr Awudu, he has made a lot of sacrifices for the party for him to be paid back that way.
In an interview with Adom News, Mr Awudu accused the constituency chairman, Sampson Agyei, William Aboagye, secretary and other constituency executives of being responsible for his suspension.

“I don’t know why the constituency executives and MP will suspend me at this time when the party is in power and I am supposed to enjoy the fruit of my labour,” he lamented.
Attempts to reach the MP for comments over the unsubstantiated allegations proved futile as calls put through by Adom News’ Isaac Amoako were not answered.
Responding to the allegations and curses, the constituency secretary, Mr Aboagye told Nhyira Fm the curses are bogus and quoted Bible quotations to defend the action of the constituency executives.
He said the gods themselves will judge the matter fairly.
