Y’asem Nie: The mechanic who does not vote to keep his NDC/ NPP customers

Voting after every four years is a civic responsibility for every Ghanaian who is 18 years and above.

Given the plethora of failed campaign promises, the electorate wait for the four-year mandate given to politicians to elapse to exercise their franchise again.

Ahead of the 2020 general election, the electorate have vowed to boot out all non-performing Members of Parliament.

But, voting is a dilemma for a young mechanic, Isaac, who has vowed not to vote just to keep his customers.

Speaking on Adom FM’s Y’asem Nie segment on Dwaso Nsem programme, Wednesday, he explained that his customers belong to either the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) or the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), thus declaring support for any party will affect his business.

“I have vowed not to vote because my key customers belong to NDC and NPP. I don’t want to lose them just because of my bad choice,” he stated in Twi.
