Dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale hijacked social media yesterday after news broke that he had featured on a song on Beyonce’s ‘Lion King: The Gifted’ album.
Celebrities and fans lauded him for the collaboration. Another Ghanaian, who also produced three songs on the same album, is record producer, Ronald Banful aka Guiltybeatz.
He was present at the worldwide premiere in the United Kingdom, where he was seen exchanging pleasantries with the American star, Beyoncé, and other African musicians who equally worked on the album (below).

Speaking on Daybreak Hitz on Hitz FM, monitored by Adomonline.com, Guiltybeatz said he was contacted through an email by Beyonce’s team to work on the project with her.
According to him, he flew to New York and met with Beyonce’s team to discuss the way forward and that was how the ‘Lion King: The Gifted’ album production emerged.
“I went to New York some few months back and I met with the A&R that emailed me and that was how I got involved in the project,” he told Andy Dosty.

Guiltybeatz, who seemed unfazed about the news because of his international affiliations ever since the song ‘Akwaaba’ came up, said there were other core projects coming up for him.
“I can’t say much but I have lots going on. I am not gonna stop [working hard],” he said.
Guiltybeatz after the news went viral said it was an honour knowing Beyonce.
