It is a time of sadness in the Nigerian movie industry as a young and fast-rising star, Kagho Harley Akpor, has lost his life.
The actor, writer and director is said to have lost his life by drowning in the swimming pool of a popular hotel in Delta state.

According to The Sun, details about the incident are sketchy, but it was gathered that Akpor was in Delta State for a movie shoot when the sad incident occurred.
The Sun quotes a source as saying the actor might have lost his life due to his lack of swimming skills and that by the time he was rescued it was already too late.
The commissioner of police in Delta State, Mr Adeyinka Adeleke, confirmed the sad news but did not give details.

He, however, explained that the deceased was not at a film location when he lost his life and that he was at the pool for other reasons.
