Former Deputy Information Minister under the erstwhile John Mahama administration has described the 2020 general election as a referendum for Ghanaians to assess the performance of the Akufo-Addo-led administration.
“We have counted on our stewardship and 2020 is going to be a referendum on Nana Addo’s governance. The long queue Ghanaians will join on the Election Day is to assess the fulfilled and unfilled promises of the New Patriotic Party (NPP),” he stated.

To him, President Akufo-Addo has done little to develop the country to warrant a second term in governance.

“Ghanaians conducted a referendum on Mahama in 2016 and for the NPP, they have given us 281 promises and have been able to fulfill only 41 in their 3rd year which is just about 14% and not a pass mark in any exam,” he added.
