A lecturer at the Central University is offering to fumigate the ‘Asomdwee Park’ where former President John Evans Atta Mills was buried due to the terrible nature of the place.
Benjamin Okyere Ankrah’s gesture comes after it emerged that, the presidential mausoleum is in ruins and exposed to intruders.

According to reports, given the current state of ‘Asomdwee Park’, cattle now see it as fertile grounds to munch on the overgrown grass intended to beautify the place.
Spokesperson of the Atta Mills family, Paul Ansah Ackom has also made a staggering revelation about how the final resting place of their kinsman is now a safe haven for junkies and prostitutes.
He is threatening the family may consider exhuming the body for re-burial at Ekumfi-Otuam in the Central region.

Based on this background, Mr Ankrah on Adom FM’s morning show, Dwaso Nsem programme, Wednesday said he will fumigate ‘Asomdwee Park’ to honour late Atta Mills.
He recalled how the humble Professor used his own money to throw birthday party for his students.

Mr Ankrah, who is the Managing Director of AB-MANA Company Limited, said he will contact the appropriate authorities and begin work as soon as possible.
