Actor John Dumelo has urged security personnel in-charge of the University of Ghana, Legon campus to be keen on their night duties.
He has also asked the authorities of the school to provide streetlights at vantage points of the school after one student, Daniel Osei, a level-400 Psychology student was mugged by suspected armed robbers when he was returning to his hostel later on Saturday night.

“The road from Pent to Evandy needs to be lighted up, the bushes cleared and also security patrols beefed up. I got in touch with friends close to Osei this morning and he’s doing ok. We thank God. Every life on Legon campus must be protected. #keeplegonsafe
“The recent attacks on students of the University of Ghana by armed thieves is sad and needs to be addressed immediately. I’m hoping that the SRC, campus security and possibly national security will handle this issue with the much needed attention,” he tweeted.
