The sustained pressure mounted by constituents of Adentan in the Greater Accra Region on their member of parliament, Yaw Buabeng Asamoah, over poor roads in the area.
The legislator, in an attempt to calm nerves, has them that their roads will be fixed soon.

He claimed in his response that the roads have been awarded to constructors, saying he will ensure the job is done.
“We have already given the contract out that is why we are asking them to exercise a little bit of patience,” he said on Peace FM.
“I am fighting for this projects to be done; I also suffer the same inconvenience they all face so let’s all be patient. I will never let my people down hence I’ll fight for this project to be done,” he assured.

Concerned residences of Adentan have expressed their displeasure about the bad state of some roads in the area.
A member of the ‘Fix Botwe Roads Now Movement’, Bianca Bentil, described the state of roads in the area as death traps and an inconvenience to the residents.
