A woman, believed to be in her thirties, lost her husband and three-year-old child to the ghastly Kintampo accident that occurred in the early hours of Friday.
The accident, which claimed about 55 lives leaving several others seriously injured, occurred when two commercial vehicles crashed head-on near Kintampo in the Bono East region.

In an interview with Adom News during the mass burial held for some 35 victims who were burnt beyond recognition, the sister-in-law of the deceased explained how hard it was for them to accept the news.
“We are all in Accra but we are at Jema today due to this unfortunate incident. Her husband bid us farewell that he was going to the Northern region to visit other relatives only for us to hear this bad news,” she narrated.
