Indecent dressing has been banned at this year’s Aboakyer Festival

The Omanhene of Effutu Traditional Area, Neenyi Ghartey (VII) and his elders have declared a ban on indecent dressing at the 2019 Aboakyer Festival.

The Omanhene, who addressed the council of elders and members of the Effutu community at the launch of the 2019 Aboakyer festival, stated that it was about time Ghana restored its lost cultural values to ensure decent dressing, especially among the youth.

In an interview with Adom News, the Omanhene stated that the action taken by the Council was to help maintain the Ghanaian culture.
