The Jubilee House from August this year will be powered by solar energy as an example to others.
President Akufo-Addo announced this during the State of the Nation Address in Parliament Thursday.
He said feasibility studies were underway for the Jubilee House; the seat of Government, to go onto solar adding that in due course same would be rolled out for other government institutions.

“The Jubilee House from August this year will be powered by solar energy as an example to others,” he said.
President Akufo-Addo gave the assurance that the government would continue to pursue renewable energy-based mini grid electrification for productive use on islands and remote communities.
