Owner and bankroller of Brekum Arsenals Football Club, Alhaji Yakubu Moro has jabbed the Normalization Committee, insisting that, they are in to bully the clubs.
According to the astute football administrator, he has heard that the special tournament’s inspection team has declared their venue, Golden City Park unfit for the competition which he thinks it is unfair since their venue has host big matches before.
“We didn’t even see any inspection team here but that is what I have heard; that our venue is not fit.”
“The Normalization Committee want to bully the clubs, they think we don’t know our left and right.”
“Brekum Arsenals came to premiere in 2001. We have played top-four, confederations cup and other big matches here for about eighteen years now, even Brekum Chelsea played their champions league matches here; so how can you tell us that this pitch is not qualified for that your unapproved tournament. They should take away their competition.” He punched.
The launch of the competition remains unclear as the FA battle with clubs on the financial terms of the competition.
