Reigning WBO World super bantamweight champion, Isaac Dogboe has been given a brand-new Mercedes Benz by the management of Silver Star Auto Limited and Rising Star Africa on Wednesday for his exploits in the ring.
Dogboe himself was not present but his father and trainer Paul Dogbe, received the car, reportedly worth $100,000, on his behalf.
After receiving the car, Paul explained that his son was absent because he is currently in school in the UK.
He, however, thanked the two companies for the kind gesture extended to his son.

Meanwhile, the Sales Manager for Silver Star Auto Limited, Rabie Agha, also said the company is proud to be associated with Isaac Dogboe.
Dogboe, who turned 24 years on the day he was presented with the car successfully defended his WBO super bantamweight last month after he blew out Japanese warrior Hidenori Otake.
Dogboe proved too strong for Otake as he dropped him twice en-route to a stoppage in round one.
The former Olympian remains Ghana’s only world champion currently and is also the country’s youngest ever world title holder.
Dogboe, who boasts a flawless record of 20 fights with no loses, is eyeing a unification battle with WBC World super bantamweight Rey Vargas or WBA World super bantamweight champion, Danny Roman.
