Administrative Secretary of Elmina Sharks, Kelvin Aboagye has disclosed why Asante Kotoko failed to sign striker Felix Addo for their Africa campaign.
Addo, part of the Black Stars B team that won the 2017 WAFU Cup of Nations was a subject of intense interest from the Porcupine Warriors to augment their squad before the Africa campaign but the deal fell through. According to him, negotiations between his outfit and Kotoko regarding Felix Addo failed to materialise because of the Reds inability to meet the player’s valuation.
“Kotoko came to us(Elmina Sharks)for the service of Felix Addo before their Africa Campaign, the amount Kotoko quoted was not up to the valuation of Felix Addo so the deal was abandoned”, said Aboagye on Metro FM.
On his part, people should disregard rumours of Hearts of Oak signing Benjamin Tweneboa because the Phobians have not communicated officially.
“We(Elmina Sharks)hear a lot about Benjamin Tweneboa joining Hearts Of Oak, there is no truth in that, there has not been a single letter from Hearts of Oak seeking the availability of Benjamin Tweneboa“.
