President Akufo-Addo has asked ‘sons and daughters’ of Dagbon to unite behind the new Yaa Naa, Mahama Abubakari II.
He has also asked the security services not to rest because there are some who are not happy with the current state of Dagbon.
According to him, “…we have to bear in mind that there will be a small minority who will not be happy with the new status quo” adding there are people who have “benefited for a long time from the conflict and never wanted to see its end. We are not to rest on our laurels and assume that every citizen of Dagbon is elated about the new peace and enskinment of the new Yaa Naa”.
