Mahama worried over deliberate killings

Former president John Dramani Mahama has condemned the dastardly killing of an investigative journalist, Ahmed Hussein.
Ahmed Hussein who works with renowned investigative journalist, Anas Aremeyaw Anas was reportedly shot in his chest twice while driving home.
The former president who expressed shock over the incident which happened last night at Madina, a suburb of Accra, wants the state agencies to be up and doing in unravelling circumstances that led to the murder.
He likened the killing to that of the head of PR of the Ghana Ports and Harbour Authority and a deputy managing director of Ghana Water company who was also killed in her home last week.
Addressing NDC delegates in Koforidua to canvass for votes ahead of the NDC’s primary to elect a flagbearer, John Mahama said the action taken by the perpetrators is an affront to the country’s democratic principles and ought not to be encouraged.
