The second lady, Samira Bawumia took over as the host of the Joy FM’s Super Morning Show to mark the celebration of the International Women’s Day.
Mrs Bawumia was joined on the show by Electoral Commission (EC) Chair, Charlotte Osei; Former Deputy Finance Minister, Mona Quartey; Former CEO, Ghana Chamber of Mines, Dr Joyce Aryee; and Senior Director, Government Relations Newmont Africa, Ama Sarpong Bawuah.
International Women’s Day (IWD), originally called International Working Women’s Day, is celebrated on March 8 every year to commemorate the struggle for women’s rights.
