Buk Bak paved way for many underground acts – Bright of Buk Bak

Musician Bright says his group, Buk Bak, created the platform for the recognition gained by many underground musicians.

Speaking on Adom FM’s “Work and Happiness” show on Thursday, the “Small thing” hitmaker said Buk Bak was way bigger than what Ghanaians perceived it to be.

He named a number of musicians who became successful after aligning with the Buk Bak group, citing defunct music group, 4×4, Reggie & Bollie, Pope Skinny, and Screw Face as artistes who had the “Buk Bak” effect and shot to fame.

He told host Owusu Ansah popularly known as OPD that “Buk Bak was bigger than Bright. We created the platform for underground acts to shine. I stand here proud to be bigger than something bigger than myself…”

Bright forms part of the tall list of musicians who are set to perform at Adom FM‘s “Temafest” event which is slated for December 26 at the Tema Sports Stadium.
