Dancehall diva Shegah bags three International awards

Former member and leader of dispersal female music performers group “Tripple M”, Godmother Shegah within the year has grabbed three international awards.

The dancehall diva has recorded three major international awards in London which has been a great achievement in her entire music career.

In  early August 2018, Shega grabbed her first International Award of the year at the D-Blaze Entertainment Music Awards in London.

The 2018 edition of the D-Blaze Entertainment Music Awards (DBE Music Awards) was staged on August 3 at the Old Town Hall, Stratford-London and Ghana’s reggae/dancehall and Afrobeats singer Shegah walked away with the ‘Best Song of the Year’ trophy leaving her competitors Abi Megaplus and Vera in the dust.

She was then in November 12th adjudged ” Outstanding Achievement In Music Award” in London by the Penache Global Entertainment (PGE).

Penache Global Entertainment (PGE) celebrated its 5th Anniversary Awards and Dinner night on the 10th November 2018 at the Prestigeous Marriott Hotel Cannary Wharf  UK where Godmother Shegah was honored Outstanding Achievement In Music Award.

Recently at the Nollywood, Entertainment and Leadership Awards (NELAS) 2018 which was held at the Prestigious Best Western Hotel – Woodford London over the weekend, Godmother  whose song “Dem Marking Time” entered into the UK reggae and dancehall chart earlier this year claimed Best Music Video award on the night.

Shegah was nominated in three categories including Best Female Artist of the Year which she lost to Jamaica’s Pepper. Her song ‘Murder’ft. Samini and Jupiter which received massive air play on UK television stations was also nominated Best Dancehall Collaboration of the Year.

 Nollywood, Entertainment and Leadership Awards (NELAS)  celebrated its 2nd awards edition and dinner night on the December 8, 2018 at the Prestigious Best Western Hotel – Woodford London.

Godmother Shegah is currently embarking on her thought of bringing all female music performers in Ghana Under one umbrella to promote the female talent.
