I have prayed for Shatta Wale; he won’t die in December – Dr. Lawrence Tetteh

Evangelist Dr Lawrence Tetteh says controversial dancehall artiste Shatta Wale won’t die as declared by a prophet.

Dr Tetteh was commenting on the prophecies of a prophet that “God said I should tell Shatta Wale that if he is not very careful and cautious, he will be involved in an accident in December and die.”

According to Dr Tetteh, he has not ‘seen’ Shatta Wale dying as has been predicted.

He said he had the privilege of travelling with Shatta Wale to the United Kingdom last week where they sat on the same plane.

Dr Tetteh said Shatta Wale embraced him and held his feet after which he laid hands on and prayed for him.

“I laid hands and prayed for Shatta Wale and I know Shatta wale will live and he will not die,’’ he said.

He added that “as a matter of fact, I have also encouraged Shatta Wale to also be mindful of his pronouncements; he’s not going to burn any church. He is a young man and I think in the spur of the moment he became a little bit emotional.”

He further stated that they are working on Shatta Wale because he calls him his spiritual father.
