Musician, Tic, formerly known as Tic Tac, is set to rock the nation with a mind-blowing event dubbed, IaMTiC – Concert.
The concert, which is scheduled for the Bukom Boxing Arena in Accra, will come off on Friday, December 21 at exactly 7 pm.
The “Masan Aba” hitmaker will use the concert to take music lovers down memory lane as he also treats them to some of his recently released tracks.
Tic rose to musical fame in the early 90s in the era of Woy3bia when Africa’s number one DJ Azigiza Jnr, featured the young chap who many, thought of as a joke till he dropped his masterpiece with Slim Buster titled Masan Aba.
He knocked Ghanaians off their feet with one of the classic records ever to come out of Ghana dubbed Philomena in the era of the early days of hiplife music.
He then went on to drop hit songs such Shodies, Serwaa Akoto, Beware Of Dogs, Mbaa 4Mula, Santrofi, Anomaa.
He took Africa by storm when he featured Africa’s golden boy, Tony Tetuila on “F3f3 Na 3f3”; featured the legendary Freddie Meiway to smash francophone territories.
He hit the world chat with kangaroo, video directed by Gil Green one of the best directors in the world. Tic headlined global stages by performing at the Rise Festival alongside Common and Busta Rhymes and others.
He headlined the very first GMAs and continued to perform on several other stages such as the Qwaku Festival, African Tropical Showcase, Party in The Park, Club African Summer Jam alongside 50cent.
He was the first Ghanaian act to perform at BBA and the only Ghanaian artiste to fight Xenophobia at the Not In Our Lives Time Concert in SA among many other great achievements.
Recognised as Forbe’s most influential artiste to come from Ghana, Tic featured on BBC News Around Africa, WFP United Nations Concert Sierra Leon, BBC one extra, BBC one radio, Hip Life Accra a Swedish National Television Production, hit number MTV Base.
