Confederation of Africa Football has named 3 Ghanaian female players as part of Africa Women’s player shortlist.
A short list released today by the Africa football federation named Black Maidens’ and Northern ladies striker Mukarama Abdulai, black Queens duo Elizabeth Addo and Portia Boakye as part of the 15 gunning for the prestigious award on the continent.
Mukarama scored 7 goals in four games at the ongoing FIFA U17 women World cup in Uruguay before Ghana exited at the quarterfinals stage.
Black Queens’ captain Elizabeth Addo and Portia Boakye scored a goal each in Ghana’s three group games in the ongoing Africa Women’s Cup of Nations as Ghana failed to progress from Group A.
Reigning Africa Women’s footballer, Assisat Oshoala made the list again.
