A lecturer of Valley View University is set to be named the next Paramount Chief of Sefwi Bekwai in the Western region.
38-year-old Isaac Danso Asare was name the successor of the late Paramount Chief of Sefwi Bekwai, Odeneho Gyapong Ababio who died four years ago.
Abusuapanin of Sefwi Bekwai Traditional Council, Opanin Kwadwo Amoah who disclose this to the media said a ceremony is scheduled for next week to outdoor him to his subjects.
Opanin Kwadwo Amoah noted that, all the necessary consultations and traditional rites have been done for a peaceful ceremony.
Mr. Danso was born on 2nd January, 1980 at sefwi Bekwai in the Bibiani Municipality to the late Opanin Yaw Danso and Obaapanin Elizabeth Affu alive.
He started his primary education in Roman Catholic D/A primary school at Bekwai and completed Corsa Preparatory Junior High School at Bekwai in 1995. He proceeded to St. John’s Senior High School in Sekondi Takoradi and completed school in the year 1998.
He furthered his educational career at the Takoradi Polytechnic and graduated in the year 2003, where he obtained High National Diploma (HND) in Accounting. From 2006 to 2008 he attended University of Cape Coast and he was awarded with Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting and Finance).
He holds a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) Kumasi from 2013 to 2015.
Currently Mr. Isaac Is a part time lecturer at both Valley View University Sefwi Wiawso campus and Ghana Baptist University College Kumasi.
He is also a staff of Unicorm Ghana Limited.
Before his name was declared as the next in kin of the paramountcy of Sefwi Bekwai, He had already contributed to the development of Bekwai community.
He has also supported brilliant but needy students from the area to gain admission to universities.
