Newly elected Communication Officer for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Sammy Gyamfi says he wasn’t surprised he beat Fred Agbenyo for the Communications Officer position.
Mr Gyemfi suggested in an interview on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen that his party’s delegates had long given him they hope that they believed in him.

“I was confident I was going to win because I know they believe in me; if the party delegate didn’t want me, they would have made me aware long before the election day,” he said.
Sammy Gyamfi who won with a total of 6225 votes as against Fred Agbenyo’s 2,225 explained that he never had the thought of losing.

“If I have a vision or a goal I want to accomplish, I am sure to work towards it so I’m not surprised that I am now the Communications Officer [of the NDC] because I know the hard work I invested in it,” he revealed.
