NDC Congress Day 2: No end in sight for NDC delegates as voting drags

-

The International Trade Fair Centre, which was alive and bubbling with activity some 12 hours ago, has seriously dulled as the energy levels in delegates have plummeted.

Hours after voting started on Saturday, there appears to be no end in sight for agitated delegates who have been queuing for hours just to take their turns.

In spite of the delays, one thing appears to be spurring delegates on – knowing this is a major step towards battling the real “enemy”, the New Patriotic Party.

Voting is, however, continuing at a tortoise pace with no clear idea when it will be done for counting and collation to begin.

For now, one can only endure by waiting and praying that the queues reduce in time for collation and counting to begin.
