A former Deputy Minister for Lands and Natural resources, Barbara Serwah Asamoah, has disclosed that she is the kind of package the party needs in the upcoming election.
Speaking on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen Wednesday, Mrs Asamoah who is aspiring to be a deputy general secretary said she was a competent candidate and can deliver up to the expectations of the party members.

“I am a three in one package, buy one get 3 free. If the people vote for me, they will get a women’s organiser, youth organiser, and a deputy general secretary, all in me,” she boasted.
Lawyer Barbara added that though she is the only female in the deputy general secretary race, she is not disturbed at all because she believes the work she has done in the past will speak for her.

“I have a lot of experience due to my numerous services on major committees of the party. I have been on the party’s vetting, legal, Kwesi Botwe Committees, amongst others. I am used to competing with men because most of the positions I have vied for were all male-oriented and my feminism even gives me a greater advantage in the race.”
The National Democratic Congress (NDC) is set to go on its national congress on November 17, 2018, to elect their national executives at the Trade Fair, La in the Greater Accra region.
