The National Women’s Organiser elect for the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) Dr Louisa Hanna Bissiw, has expressed her gratitude to the delegates of the party for their support.
Speaking on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen, she disclosed that delegates can be very powerful when it comes to elections.

“People always say we should fear delegates but because I am a delegate, I never liked such comments but I believe that is the truth”.
She also expressed her appreciation to the women of the party, especially those who helped her in diverse ways and were always available for her.

“I availed myself in all the 10 regions to be vetted by the delegates and on the day of the elections, in one of the regions, the women asked for a devotion session while the Muslims also gathered to pray for me, with “Jesus woko y3 wo ko” as the song for the devotion, ” she revealed.
Dr Bissiw emerged the winner among three other contenders at the party’s delegates’ congress over the weekend.
