President of Zimbabwe, Robert Mugabe says Ghana has a brighter future under an Akufo-Addo presidency.
According to him, he was highly impressed with the speech delivered by the President at the 60th anniversary parade held at the Independence Square in Accra.
President Mugabe who was part of the African Heads of State who graced the occasion said he was highly impressed by President Akufo-Addo’s speech to Ghanaians.
The President in his speech called on Ghanaians to help him accelerate Ghana’s development.
He also among other things called on the citizens to protect their environment from degradation to safeguard it for posterity.
President Akufo-Addo underscored the need to mobilize natural and human resources for nation building.
In support, President Mugabe during interaction with the media in Accra, called for stronger ties between Ghana and Zimbabwe.
Given the rich mineral resources in both countries, he said trade will be the best way to accelerate the development of Ghana and Zimbabwe.
