Okyeame Kwame, the musician known to many as the Rap Doctor, has taken a swipe at authorities of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science & Technology (KNUST) for their hasty decision in putting both genders under one roof.
According to him, the decision of having female students in the all-male hall was a wrong one and as a matter of urgency must be reversed if possible.

The Public Relations Officer of KNUST, Kwame Yeboah, told Joy News “morale activities” is one of the many activities the university has placed a ban on.
Over the years, the Katanga boys had clashed with their rivals, Unity Hall, during such programmes, which would usually travel deep into the night.
Following the incident, there has been uneasy calm on campus as both the university’s internal security and KNUST Police have increased their presence on campus.
