A national organizer aspirant for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Baba Jamal is optimistic the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) will win the 2020 General Election.
Speaking on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen Thursday, the former Member of Parliament for the Akwatia Constituency in the Eastern Region said the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) would leave power miserably with one million deficits.

“I would be very surprised if NDC beats NPP with less than 1 million votes in 2020. NPP is on its way out. NPP will leave power with one million deficit and we are winning the elections hands down. I assure all NDC members not to feel discouraged because we are coming back,” he said.
According to Mr Jamal, Ghanaians are suffering because the Akufo-Addo-led government has failed to fulfil promises it made prior to the 2016 elections.

“We are not seeing the many NPP promises. It has failed already and they would lose in 2020,” he said.

“If the NDC will listen to me very well, then it is important that we eschew pettiness and internal wrangling in the party. When we halt those things, trust me, we would win the 2020 elections hands down,” he said.
