Chief Executive Officer of Hearts of Oak, Mark Noonan, has stated that midfielder Patrick Razak is on his way back to the club after the player agreed to join Guinean side AC Horoya on a two-year deal.
In a one-on-one interview on the Tuesday edition of Asempa FM’s Ultimate Sports Show, Noonan stated emphatically that “Patrick Razak is on his way back to Hearts of Oak, he has not been sold”.
“He is still a Hearts of Oak player”
“Player transfer goes through processes so he has to come back and complete his”.
“Hearts of Oak only need players who are willing to play for the club”, he added.
The player whose contract with the Phobians is on the verge of expiring was believed to be heading to Kumasi after Asante Kotoko communications director Sarfo Duku revealed in an interview last week that they had met the player’s agent and concluded talks.
However, Hearts quickly issued a statement to debunk the claims, insisting that the player will never be transferred to a rival club.
