Audio: Tafo Pankrono MP escapes Delta Force attack

New Patriotic Party (NPP) Member of Parliament for Tafo Pankrono in the Ashanti region has allegedly escaped lynching.

According to reports, Hon. Dr Anthony Akoto Osei escaped when some members of the party’s vigilante group, Delta forces stormed a meeting with his constituents.

The macho men were  said to have destroyed items worth thousands of cedi and harassed NPP executives and the people who had gathered at the meeting.

Organizer of the Kumasi-based vigilante group, Hak-Musah Tasure, aka Falasi confirmed the incident to Adom News Sunday.

He said their attack was borne out of neglect by the party executives in the region after working tirelessly for them to win the 2016 electioneering campaign.

“The MP was lucky he escaped but we gave some of the executives dirty slaps for not fulfilling their promise to us” Hak-Musah Tasure stated.

The livid NPP man explained that, he has come under attack by his own members for not getting them jobs so he led them to disrupt the MP’s meeting to show their wrath.

“We give monies to our boys to buy police forms but they are always left out. This is not what they promised us” he bemoaned.

Hak-Musah Tasure has warned of more attacks if nothing to done about their plight.
