Three communities in both Nkwanta South Municipality and Kadjebi District have received mechanized boreholes and toilet facilities from World Vision International Ghana.
The communities include; OBanda, Dompa, and Dika.
World Vision Cluster Manager for Nkwanta South, Salomey Yeboah tells Adom News, people’s wellbeing is their main focus, particularly children but it sometimes worrying to see people travelling a long distance to look for water while others share water with animals.

She said her outfit realizing the challenge people in these communities go through, decided to support them.
Each of the communities has a solar-powered mechanised borehole with 5-seater latrines.
DCE for Kadjebi, Maxwell Kofi Asiedu pleaded with the communities to take good care of the facilities so they can meet their lifespan.

Residents in these communities say the boreholes will relief them from the struggle they go through to get water.
