The much-awaited Normalization Committee to man Ghana Football from now till March 2019 has been named by FIFA.
Dr Kofi Amoah who was the head of the CAF/FIFA liaison team has been retained as a member of the committee.
He will be assisted by former Chief Executive Officer of Communications Giant Airtel, Lucy Quist.
Lawyer Duah Adonten, a former Kotoko Board member and Board Member of the Attorney General’s Department, Naa Odofoley Nortey complete the list.
FIFA who reserve the right to make additions to the committee’s membership will announce a fifth member after some consultations between her and the Committee.
The Normalization Committee members will be tasked to:
- To run the GFA’s daily affairs and cooperate with the special task force once it has been set up by FIFA, CAF and the Government of Ghana;
2. To review the GFA statutes to ensure compliance with the requirements of FIFA and CAF, particularly art. 15 of the FIFA Statutes, and;
3. Once the GFA statutes meet the requirements of FIFA and CAF, to organise and conduct elections of a GFA executive committee on the basis of the revised GFA statutes.
