The Campaign Coordinator of the Integrated Social Development Centre (ISODEC), Dr Steve Manteaw has called for investigations into the claims by the Special Prosecutor that he has noticed a transfer of some “strange money” into his account.
The call comes on the back of claims by the Martin Amidu that some “strange” amount of money had been transferred into his account.
Dr Manteaw said it will be necessary to unmask the face behind the “strange money” and make the culprit face justice to serve as a deterrent to others in the fight against corruption.

Dr Manteaw who was speaking in an interview with Adom News, however, lauded the special prosecutor for leading by example in the fight against corruption in Ghana.
Meanwhile, a legal practitioner and constitutional lawyer, Lawyer Broni Bediako says the comments prove that the SP is committed to fighting corruption as he leads by example.
However, Programmes Director of Ghana Integrity Initiative (GII), Mary Addah, says the independent prosecutor should rather focus on investigating cases before him and furnish the public with information about the progress made since his appointment.
According to her, expectations are high for his office to discharge the mandate entrusted him and therefore must not fail.
