Policy Analyst for the People’s National Convention (PNC) party, Atik Mohammed, says the attack at the Tamale Teaching Hospital by a group suspected to be Kandahar Boys vigilante group is a snowball effect.
According to him, the incident has confirmed the possibility of gangsters taking over the government because their activities of the past have gone unchecked and that has snowballed into what happened at Tamale.

“If someone can go and sack the CEO and tell him to get out then we are getting to a point where gangsters can rule over the country,” he noted.
He also condemned the notion by some citizens that rules governing Accra do not govern other regions, saying Ghana is a unit and not a divided nation.

Kandahar Boys, a group affiliated to ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), attacked the Tamale Teaching Hospital on Monday, 13th August 2018.
