One lady’s decision not to let a chocked job market frustrate her and dim her future has caught the eye of the host of Drive Time on Joy FM, Lexis Bill.

A bold tweet, “NSS is over. Unemployment for what? I will sell anguamo saa,” has triggered a chain of blessed reactions championed by Lexis Bill.

Abigail Darko, together with her partner, has set her sights on starting an ‘anguamo’ (rice cooked with some oil) rather than wait for a white colour job.

“I want us to do something for this lady @some_girl_bi. I think she deserves to be encouraged,” he tweeted.

After an interview on Ghana’s most listened Drive Time show, the host made a simple call to listeners for support. That call opened the floodgates of blessings.

Enjoying the rollercoaster ride which has seen several companies coming on board with Lexis Bill to grow her business, Ms Darko disclosed on Drive Time on Joy FM that, business is “booming…it’s so good.”

People are ordering the food, she said, heaving a sigh of relief. “Some companies come for packs” while others also order for their birthday parties, she said excitedly.

A growing business demands more hands, therefore, Ms Darko has employed three people.

Lexis Bill triggered the support system on Friday, August 10 on his show and on Tuesday, August 15, Abigail Darko came visiting and bearing samples of her neatly packaged ‘anguamo’ to show her gratitude.

So far, Ms Darko has received support from several companies and individuals including, Royal Feast Rice (bags of rice), Meannan Foods (crates of eggs), Millennium Insurance (insurance cover), Breakthrough Express and Drop Deliveries (free delivery), and Daniel Edmund Ayitevie (photography).
