Govt will listen to club owners and not GFA Executive Committee – Baba Gedo

-

Owner and bank roller of Division one side, Amidaus Professionals, Baba Gedo has added his voice to the attempt by Ghana National League clubs to denounce the ExCo. Of the Ghana Football Association saying they are not proactive.

Club owners earlier this week resolved to pass a vote of no confidence in the 17 Executive Committee (ExCo) members following the fallout from the Anas exposé in June.

Baba Gedo believes that Ghana football was heading for the ditch and these members knew all but did nothing till the exposé.

Although not all members of the ExCo. were indicted, the tough talking administrator believes it is time club owners speak out.

“I know not all the ExCo. members were found culpable but it is time we club owners speak up and talk for ourselves.  We spend our hard earned money on football and need no representatives”, Gedo explained.

Speaking on the Ultimate Sports Show, Baba Gedo said government is dragging the process to resolve the crisis because they do not want to give the Executive Committee audience hence the need for Club owners to intervene”.
