Minority Spokesperson on Legal and Constitutional Affairs, Inusah Fuseini has described President Akufo-Addo’s latest ministerial reshuffle as ‘musical chairs’.
Describing the reshuffle as very disappointing, Mr. Fuseini wondered why President Akufo- Addo increased the number of ministers to 111 instead of reducing the number.
“I think Nana Addo just did musical chairs with his ministers. I don’t see that as a reshuffle. He only moved the ministers round without considering the number involved” he said on Accra based Neat FM monitored by Adomonline.com.

President Akufo-Addo has made some changes within his government, reassigning 15 members of his government with immediate effect.
In the latest reshuffle, former Minister for Lands and Natural Resources, John Peter Amewu has been appointed as acting Minister for Energy while Otiko Afisa Djaba, former Minister for Gender, Children and Social Protection, is now Ambassador-designate to Italy.
But the Tamale Central MP believes President Akufo-Addo, moving John Peter Amewu to the Energy Ministry was in the right direction.

He said Mr. Amewu was remarkable as a former Minister for Land and Natural Resources with a strong and resolute personality and would look to bring that to bear at the Energy Ministry to help resolve the energy crisis.
This notwithstanding, the Tamale Central MP said the President would have met the expectations of Ghanaians if he had reduced the size of his ministers.
