The management of the Students Loan Trust Fund (SLTF), in collaboration with GTBank has launched the “Repayment at Your Fingertips” campaign.
The campaign will enable beneficiaries of the student’s loan scheme to repay their debts through GTBank’s omni-electronic payment platforms.
Chief Executive Officer of SLTF, Nana Kwaku Agyei Yeboah, speaking at a press conference in Accra said his outfit chose to partner with GT Bank because of their proven record in using technology to enhance the customer experience.

He said the idea is to make repaying students loan as easy as possible.
He said over one hundred thousand Ghanaian students have benefited from loans from the Students Loan by making it possible for many brilliant-but-needy students to achieve their dreams.
“We have made it possible for many brilliant-but-needy students to achieve their dreams of pursuing tertiary education. Loans have been used in paying tuition fees. Over thousand Ghanaian students have benefited from the scheme,” he said.
Mr Yeboah indicated that they are working together with government to put in place strategies that will guarantee funding for the increased numbers but called for support and cooperation of all stakeholders.

He urged borrowers to dial *737*206# and follow the prompts or make online payments through myghpay.com or download the myghpay App at Playstore or Appstore and follow instructions.
On his part, Managing Director of UT Bank, Thomas John Attah expressed appreciation to the management of SLTF for the gesture.
He said UT Bank is ready to build a stronger relationship with the SLTF in order to increase the number of students who will require financial assistance to grant them access into the tertiary institutions.
