Nigerian-American singer, Jidenna Theodore Mobisson has apologised to his fans for not performing at the One Africa music festival, but castigated the organizers for not keeping to time.

Jidenna in a video shared online expressed disappointment that he was not able to perform during the show, adding that it was not by his choice but due to mismanagement of time.

According to him, no one is to be blamed but Africans need to learn how to be on time.

He disclosed this in a video shared on his instagram page@Jidenna. “Cheers to the artists and organizers of #OneAfrica! it was an epic and historic occasion. I want to apologize to all my fans and supporters who came out to support me and the others. I was supposed to perform but the show was cut off as I waited backstage.

“I’m disappointed that London wasn’t able to see me 2night. “I was not on stage not by my choice but apparently because we ran out of time. I’m not here to point any fingers at One Africa but something went wrong.

“If we truly believe its our time as Africans, we have to be on time, on our clock especially in a city where we have Big Ben watching over us. Regardless of whose to blame, to make this our time we must be on time #OneAfrica. ”

The one African music festival hosted by Banky W held on saturday in London.

It had likes of top Nigerian artistes – Davido, Olamide, Phyno, Psquare, M.I, Tiwa savage, Awilo, Flavour amongst others who performed on stage to a large crowd.
