A former Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Ejisu-Juaben in the Ashanti Region, Afrifa Yamoah Ponkoh has called on the leadership of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to sack the National Organiser from the party for good.
According to the active member of the party in the Ashanti Region, Kofi Adams does not deserve to remain a member of the party after contributing significantly to the massive defeat of the party in the 2016 polls.
“I have already said it and I would repeat it once more, that Kofi Adams must be banished from the NDC, he shouldn’t even dare to re-contest any political position because he would lose massively…,” he said on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen Tuesday.
Kofi Adams was the centre of several accusations by members of the NDC after the party managed 44.4% of valid votes cast in the 2016 National elections.
Yamoah Ponkoh had earlier called for him to be hanged for leading the party into opposition as a national campaign Coordinator.
Months down the lane, he still believes Kofi Adams does not deserve a seat in the table of leaders of the NDC.
The former aide to former President Rawlings, he said is not the only executive of the NDC who must be sacked from the party; other which he did not mention, he predicted would also lose their positions in the next delegates conference of the party.
