The Headmaster of Adisadel College, William Kusi-Yeboah, has slammed people criticizing him for his style of dressing.

Mr Kusi-Yeboah came under severe criticism for superintending the school’s defeat at the National Science and Maths Quiz 2017.

He became the toast of many who attended the grand finale of the NSMQ 17 at the National Theater for his fashion sense.

Though his school lost to Prempeh College last year, he became an instant celebrity as the media, as well as individuals and some old students, ran to him for photo shot opportunity.

But speaking on Adom FM’s Morning Show “Dwaso Nsem” Friday, the headmaster who was seen in a white shirt and a black trouser wondered why a section of the public is so interested in his costume for such events.

According to him, he has over 30 suits in his wardrobe and debunked allegations that his style of dressing brings bad omen to the school.

“What at all is wrong with Ghanaians? I wore a suit last year and they complained. Just yesterday I wore a different thing and they don’t seem to understand why. Let me tell you, in fact, I have over 30 suits in my wardrobe and I choose whatever I feel like wearing.

“Coats or suits don’t win competitions. They are not humans to compete for trophies. I decide what I wear and not what critics decide”, he said.

Mr. Kusi-Yeboah indicated that he wore the customized suit to the event ground last year because he was an old student of Adisadel College and was hopeful his boys were going to carry the day.

This year’s contest ended with St. Peter’s SHS winning with 45 points, with West Africa SHS and Adisadel College placing second and third with 44 and 39 points, respectively.
