Vodafone Fixed Broadband goes mobile

From Tuesday, June 5, customers of Vodafone Fixed broadband will have the flexibility to link and move data from their fixed broadband to a Vodafone mobile number.

This helps to provide them with seamless connectivity in and out of their home or office, the telecommunications giant said.

The product, named ‘FBB Data Move’, will allow customers to transfer some or all their current broadband allocation onto their mobile device and vice versa, after simply linking their fixed broadband account with a Vodafone mobile number.

The service has been introduced to give customers the freedom to enjoy their data anywhere and at any time.

The new service augments Vodafone’s list of ground-breaking fixed broadband products including the Vodafone One service.

Commenting, Fixed Business Director at Vodafone Ghana, Patricia Obo-Nai said, “we are once again living up to our reputation as an innovative brand with a commitment to providing unmatched experience to our customers.

“This is an industry first and we are very proud of it. This has been a request from our customers and we are delighted to honour it,” she added.

To subscribe to this service, customers must first dial *900# on the Vodafone mobile number they want to be linked to their fixed broadband.

Customers can also visit Vodafone’s website or download and use the MyVodafone App on Google Play Store.
