I will scrap Officiating fees during my tenure – George Afriyie

-

Owner of division one side, Okyemann Planners, Mr. George Afriyie, has announced exclusively to Asempa Sports that he will scrap the culture of officiating fees from the game should he become president.
Speaking on the Ultimate Sports Show on Asempa FM, George Afriyie revealed he will ensure clubs do not pay the mandatory officiating fees ahead of every season, saying it is a disservice to the clubs.
“One of my campaign promises is to stop clubs from paying officiating fees ahead of every season.  This is my own way of reducing clubs’ burdens from colts to the Premier league clubs”, he said.
George Afriyie revealed he has a lot to offer the game and the Association when given the nod in 2019 and will change the fortunes and outlook of the Association.
Accepting he was a part of the said failed Nyantakyi era, George said he will do things differently to put the Association back on track and get the best out of its members.
