Coach Henry Wellington was not a happy coach even though Heats Of Oak managed a 3-1 win in their midweek match against Wa All Stars.
According to him, his side was not focused and did not play to instructions.
Goals from young attacker Selasie Bakai, Joseph Esso and substitute Cosmos Dauda gave the Phobians all three points to return them to winning ways after their 3-0 defeat at the hands of Berekum Chelsea last Sunday.
However, head coach Wellington says his team’s composure and display on the field of play was unprofessional and immature.
“I am not impressed with the character my players displayed at home even though we won,” Wellington said after the match.
“When you are playing a match you have to be fully concentrated for the entire duration, you have to be fully focused on the field.”
“Although we won, I still will talk to my players so they know their mistakes.”
Hearts of Oak will play Elmina Sharks next at their adopted home, Cape Coast stadium on Saturday to honor match day seven.
