Head coach of Madagascan side, Fosa Juniors Bob Kootwijk, has conceded defeat to Aduana Stars ahead of their second leg Confederation Cup clash.
According to him, the return leg will be a mere formality for the Ghanaian champions.
Aduana Stars beat the Malagasy FA Cup holders 6-1 in the first leg of the 2018 Confederations Cup play offs at the Nana Agyeman Badu Park in Dormaa on Sunday and Bootwijk is certain the tie is over for his side.
“We make 1-0, and quickly after that was the 1-1 and mentally that was not good,” the Dutch coach said in the post-match interview.
“After that very quickly there came the penalties, it became 1-3 so when you have a young team you have to get up. So I can easily say this is a match between the big boys and the small boys.”
“We are only going to play for honour,” he added.
Aduana Stars will play Fosa Juniors in a fortnight in the return leg encounter in Madagascar.
