League begins this weekend as court dismisses another Olympics injunction

-

Accra Great Olympics’ hope to play in the Ghana Premier League suffered another setback today when a court dismissed their quest for an injunction on the start of the competition.
The judge ruled that the court lacks the jurisdiction to hear the matter, insisting that it is an internal matter that the Ghana FA judicial processes should handle.
This is the second time the court has rejected the Accra-based side’s request for the league to be delayed over their ambitious plea to play in the Ghana Premier League despite their relegation.
The decision by the judge to dismiss the injunction request from Olympics paves the way for the start of the Premier League this weekend.
