Youth and Sports Minister, Hon. Isaac Asiamah has openly expressed his displeasure and concern about the delay of the start of the 2017/2018 premier league season.
Asked about how his outfit is helping address the unfortunate situation bedevilling Ghana football he said he has actively intervened and admonished the football governing body to find a solution immediately.
“I am very sad with the current happenings and the ministry regrets the delay in the start of the league. I have met with the leadership of both GHALCA and the FA and I have asked them to find a lasting solution”, he said.
The 2017/2018 Premier league season is yet to start after relegated Great Olympics served the football association twice with an injunction by seeking redress in the law court.
