Sponsor of this year’s Upper East Music Awards, Charger Limited; producers of Happy Man Bitters have asked organisers of the scheme, Lezis Entertainment to restructure the Upper East Music Awards.
According to the sponsor, after a thorough analysis of the various complaints by artistes, managers and the general public, it is prudent that the scheme restructures to provide a level playing field all individuals involved in the scheme.
A statement from Charger Limited said “After a careful analysis of the various complaints about the organization and structures of the Upper East Music Awards scheme, the Board Members and Management of Charger Limited; producers of Happy Man Bitters as the headline sponsor of the scheme have asked organisers to restructure the scheme to provide equal playing field to artistes and players in the music industry”.

Call For Restructuring of Upper East Music Awards
After a careful analysis of the various complaints about the organization and structures of the Upper East Music Awards scheme, the Board Members and Management of Charger Limited; producers of Happy Man Bitters as the headline sponsor of the scheme have asked organisers to restructure the scheme to provide equal playing field to artistes and players in the music industry.
As a brand, Happy Man Bitters under Charger Limited prides itself with Customer Satisfaction and provision of goods and services of finest quality and therefore believes that the various complaints from several camps are legitimate and needs to be addressed.
Charger Limited through this release has called for the following to be implemented to bring sanity to the awards scheme which we believe has come to help propel the music industry in the region to a higher height.
We have asked that the awards scheme be postponed to a later date, nominations should be reopened for towns which were not given the opportunity to file for nominations get the opportunity, a new board be reconstituted with representation from the various towns in the region to provide equal representation from all parts of the region, the voting system for the award scheme should be reviewed to include a favourable voting method (sms/social media).
We at Charger Limited believe that with these put in place will ensure that there is sanity in the process and will put to rest the various complaints that has characterized the awards scheme.
